Sound Investment Band
Having studied music at the University of Maryland and with widespread experience performing with various bands both in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Central Coast, Paula brings her vocal talents to Sound Investment. Her lead singing and knack for harmonizing anytime, anywhere are part of what make up the core of Sound Investment’s vocals. Paula also adds keyboard and solid percussion to the mix.
Rob’s enthusiasm for drumming started with Big Band Jazz. He has played at various jazz festivals including the Monterey and Greeley Jazz Festivals. Rob has laid down the backbeat with various big band, jazz combos, rock and fusion groups. He now lays down the foundation for the sound that makes Sound Investment a Central Coast favorite.
Richard Ramsay has been on the cutting edge of the Central coast live music scene since moving to California in 1990 from Arizona. Richard has been featured in various groups throughout the area where he showcases is impressive talents and skills as a lead Saxophonist. He will capture your attention.
David loves making music. Ever since he was a child he loved to hum a melody tap on things to make a beat. When he was encouraged by my Grandfather and his oldest brother to take their guidance and ran with it. He grew up in a small town in California learning to play in bands with his neighborhood friends. We could go on about all David’s experiences but we prefer to live in the moment of creation of his music and let him display is talent. Davis now brings strong vocals & solid bass lines to Sound Investment
A classical and Jazz trained musician, Paul started his music studies in Long Beach NY. After studying Piano and Trumpet, Paul eventually found his home on guitar. Moving to CA and getting the musical nickname “5” he then started a professional music career in the LA area, performing live at The Whiskey a Go Go, Rainbow, The Central (Viper Room) and many more. His musical style range from Jazz, Funk, Punk, Rock and SKA. Following 9/11 2001 Paul left a career as an Airline Pilot and moved to Switzerland and performed in Europe. Since returning to the US in 2013 “5” is now back and living in the beautiful California Central Coast. Sound Investment is fortunate to have such a talent musician
Butch began playing professionally at age 14 as a guitar player. In the late 60s and early 70s, his band The Accumulation played at many Los Angeles-area venues including the Hollywood Palladium and the The Whiskey. He then formed an Orange County area favorite, Sundown Express, which worked with many artists such as The Platters & The Drifters. He was also lucky to work briefly with “The Divine Miss M” Bette Midler.
